The witness of Gornakashvili’s Lawsuit has been tortured and prosecuted

Last night the resident of Village Duisi – Ruslan Kavtarashvili was found tortured and prosecuted at the bank of the river Alazani. As the locals say, he was found beaten, with both of his hands broken, the burns on his body. The police is being investigating the case as kidnapping and attempt of murder of a human. By this moment he has been transferred to Telavi Referral hospital, and based on the doctors’ reports his condition is heavy but stable. Both of his hands are being operated.

Need to remind you that couple days ago there was a new Fb page created couple days before this fact under the name of ZurabGornakashvili who is proven guilty for affiliation and cooperation with a terrorist organization. In his post he was calling on his so called “brotherhood” (followers) to hold accountable those people who reported them to the police and spoke in the court as witnesses against them. Among the names listed in the post was Ruslan Kavtarashvili.

According to the Village Duisi head of the municipality who was interviewed by the local media, the danger is increasing daily. “I think this is Russian side, who is not stopping sending the terrorist, otherwise it is unclear where to they come from, why is it so hard to arrest all of them one day and give us some peace and freedom – says the Head of the Village.
