The opposition openly opposes our international partners, ambassadors, – Irakli Kobakhidze, former chairman of the parliament and a member of the majority, told reporters.
According to him, the opposition still has time to make a different decision, otherwise they will be held responsible.
“It is their political responsibility. The ambassadors have repeatedly called on them to support the constitutional changes, however, they are openly opposing our international partners, ambassadors. Naturally, they will bear a heavy political responsibility for this,” Kobakhidze said.
According to him, he does not expect any MP to change his mind about supporting the constitutional amendments.
“Theoretically, if one of the MPs does this, it will be an open deal with the United National Movement. Probably none of the MPs will risk it, so there is no risk of the failure of the constitutional changes”, he said.
